Delete your account
You can delete your ReelFriends account at any time, from inside the app or by asking us. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
From the app
- Open ReelFriends and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the ⚙ settings icon in the top corner.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete forever.
If you can't sign in
Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete it within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, email, and profile photo
- Every list you own, including its titles and any votes on it
- All your reviews and ratings
- Your friends and pending friend requests, and your blocked-users list
- Your watched history, notifications, and push-notification token
- Your sign-in account
You're also removed from lists that other people own. Those lists keep the titles you added; they belong to the list.
What we keep
- Anonymous, aggregate counts — for example how many people have added a title to a list. Nothing in them identifies you.
- Records of safety reports, kept for moderation. They reference account IDs only, not your name or email.
